Miss Alabama 2024 Crowned
Ali Mims, a 21-year-old student from Birmingham, won the title of Miss Alabama 2024.
She will now represent the state at the Miss USA 2024 pageant.
Mims was crowned at the finale of the competition at Thompson High School in Vestavia Hills. She is a student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she studies nursing. Mims is also an active volunteer in her community and has worked with organizations such as the American Red Cross and the Ronald McDonald House.
Mims said that she is "honored and excited" to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024. She said that she is looking forward to the opportunity to compete for the national title and to represent the state of Alabama on a national stage.
