Swiss starlet Dan Ndoye poised to make his mark on the world stage
From his first steps in Bologna to the eyes of the world, here is the story of a young player on the rise
Dan Ndoye is far from being a household name right now, but if his career to date is anything to go by, that won't be the case for much longer.
Born in Nyon, Switzerland, in 2000, Ndoye began his professional career with local club Lausanne-Sport in 2017. He quickly made a name for himself as a pacy and skilful winger, and in 2019 he earned a move to French Ligue 1 side Nice.
Ndoye continued to impress in France, making over 50 appearances for Nice and scoring 10 goals. His performances earned him a call-up to the Swiss national team, and he made his debut in 2021.
In 2023, Ndoye made the move to Italian Serie A side Bologna. He has quickly established himself as a key player for the Rossoblu, scoring 5 goals in his first 10 appearances. Ndoye's impressive form has helped Bologna to a strong start to the season, and they are currently in the top half of the table.
Ndoye is still only 23 years old, but he is already one of the most exciting young players in world football. With his pace, skill and eye for goal, he has all the attributes to become a world-class player. It is only a matter of time before the world takes notice of Dan Ndoye.
